Emmy Nominations are out! And my favorite people over at Food Network have scored 8 nominations this year. Ina Garten, Bobby Flay, Nigella Lawson, and Giada were all nominated for major awards. I love all of them! But where is Rachel Ray’s nomination?! Rachel Ray is my favorite celebrity chef, because she has the cutest personality and the cutest kitchen. I can’t believe Rachel wasn’t nominated for anything; even my least favorite celebrity chef Sandra Lee was nominated for an Emmy this year!
Yes, Sandra Lee was nominated for an Emmy this year – in OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT FOR HAIRSTYLING.
I can’t believe that’s even a category…and I think Giada has much better hair than Sandra does. But Sandra definitely uses a lot more hairspray. Giada’s hair looks too natural.
This month has been fantastic for Sandra, as she was also named to be of the most beautiful people on People Magazine’s 100 Most Beautiful list. According to the magazine, Sandra claims that she eats champagne and chocolate to stay beautiful. Other food network hosts include Rachel Ray and Ingrid Hoffman. Rachel claims that eating leafy greens help her stay beautiful.
I have to agree with Sandra here. I also eat champagne and chocolate to stay beautiful.
I too like Ina Garten, Bobby Flay, Nigella Lawson, and Giada de Laurentiis – I actually got to meet Giada a few years ago… she’s so lovely in person!! And short, haha :0)
Hairstyling category??? What has this world come to?!
Hair? Seriously? Who’d have thought that would be a category? I’m flummoxed.
And I can’t say I care for Rachael Ray. Maybe if they had a category for most obnoxious host. Or for the host who talks with their hands the most. Or the one who comes up with the lamest food titles. ; )
Hey you guys, hair is serious! What’s even funnier is that Sandy recently said in an interview that she matches her hair style to the theme of the episode. HAHA!
I can’t believe Sandra Lee was nominated! Alton Brown is a much better choice than her, and his hair is all natural (hee hee). I agree, where is Rachel Ray? I understand that some people find her a bit too much, but she is genuine!
